“Visions of a fragmented island”: independent Cuban cinema exhibition arrives in Madrid
This September 18th at Casa de América (Madrid), the Cuban short films Souvenir (Heidi Hassan), La historia se escribe de noche (Alejandro Alonso), El espacio roto (Gabriel Alemán, Eduardo Eimil) and Cuatro hoyos (Daniela Muñoz) will be screened, followed by a discussion with the filmmakers.

Film Festival
The jury of the IV INSTAR Film Festival announces the winner of the Nicolás Guillén Landrián Award, which is given to the film that best addresses, from the cinematographic language, a taboo subject in its corresponding society. The event closes with the presence of its Executive Director and Artistic Director.
